Cathy has an exceptional music program that has encouraged our boys to explore melody through various musical instruments; including piano, ukulele and drums. She has a vibrant and caring personality that shines through her to her students. Cathy has opened up a musical world to our children that has given them a positive outlet to express themselves through various instruments. She is a valued and highly respected instructor that I have referred out to friends and co-workers and will continue to do so in the future. - Margo lliou (part of Cathy’s music studio for 5 years)
Cathy’s love of all varieties of music enhances her teaching and her enthusiasm rubs off on her students. She is very much ‘in tune’ with her students’ musical interests and strengths and brings out the best in them, while encouraging them to try something new now and then, and to aim higher. Her year end concerts are a testimony to the individual attention she pours into each student, and of how she connects with each student through her passion for music. We feel incredibly indebted to Cathy for her influence in our children’s lives, both as a musical mentor and as a friend. – Wendy Van Den Berg (part of Cathy’s music studio for 10 years)
