Bio
Cathy A.J. Hardy is a singer/songwriter, performer, music instructor living in Mission, BC, Canada.
Cathy learned to love to sing from a very young age and started her music education with piano lessons at the age of 7.
In 2011 Cathy recorded her first solo CD called Love Shines which was nominated for Folk/Roots Album of the Year with the Gospel Music Awards of Canada. She has also collaborated with two other CD projects which were inspired from the Taize music of France.
Cathy is regularly performing, sharing her music from the Love Shines album as well as world folk music all over the Greater Fraser Valley and interior of BC. She performs regularly with Boris Sichon, Kevin Boese & Jonathan VanDyke.
Cathy’s Music Studio has become a well-respected business in Mission for the past 10 years. With over 20 years of experience, Cathy teaches piano, recorders, ukulele, voice and most recently world percussion with world musician, Boris Sichon.
Cathy is also an affiliate of the Mark Centre of Abbotsford and is involved in leading contempletive retreats in Abbotsford and on Pender Island.
Cathy currently lives in Mission, BC Canada.
